Just bought a 66 4-speed Hemi Satellite, it should be here in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait to get my freaking hands on it.
Looking for hemi/ show car experts in AZ for guidance in getting my car as correct as possible. I'm aware there's a Mopar club here in the Phoenix area and I'll get with them.
For starters I need a set of original black wrinkle finish valve covers. Car has older chrome DC valve covers which I'll sell when I get a correct pair.
Second, the car has leaf spring shackles with multiple holes for adjustment. They don't look original to me, and if not I need originals. Do they have visible part numbers, stamping marks etc?
Third, what is the original finish on the Dana rear? Mine is dirty and looks to be painted Orange.
Looking forward to cleaning some parts and smoking some tires.

Welcome to the site :welcome:nice ride!
The very first thing I see that’s not correct is the distributor and the ignition coil.
Also the throttle return spring bracket for the front carb is the one for the rear carb can’t see the bracket for the rear carb with the air cleaner in place. And the factory ignition wire looms are missing. I’m not picking your ride apart but you asked for some guidance:lol:

Welcome from Alabama, great investment. My Dana cars have a coat of chassis black.

welcome and hello from S Carolina,

Welcome from PA. You have a fellow FBBO member in your area who also has a '66 Hemi Satellite, and is a great resource.

Nice score - more pictures please.

Welcome! I’m in Queen Creek AZ. I’ve never owned anything original and won’t be a good resource. What part of the valley are you located?
