Points/standings update for the Carolina Nationals...

'cuda20' (FABO) posted a couple of weeks ago that he was going on a hunting trip and posted his 'locked in' picks for the next two races ending with the Carolina Nationals. Unfortunately, his post was lost with the server error issue on FABO.
He reminded me after I posted the initial results following the Carolina Nationals.
I remember his post, so I went back and updated the points and standings using his same picks from the Mopar Express Lane Nationals.
The points and position standings now shown on post #279 are correct.
I apologize for any confusion my forgetfulness may have caused.

Cory Reed crash update:
Yesterday, Autoweek.com reported that Cory Reed suffered a both a compound fracture of both the tibia and fibula of his left leg just above the ankle and a broken shoulder during his top end crash at the DeWalt Carolina Nationals. Surgery to repair his broken leg was scheduled for Monday, September 20.
He is currently entered in the NHRA Texas FallNationals October 7-10 but you may want to confirm he'll be racing if you plan on making him your Pro Stock Motorcycle class pick for that event.

Congratulations to 'Back in Time' (FABO) for winning the 'Top Qualifier' title for the NHRA Midwest Nationals with an outstanding total of 23.5 bonus points. He picked the #1 qualifiers in both Funny Car and Pro Stock, and the #2 qualifier in Top Fuel.
The runner-up qualifier spot is shared by 'memike' (FABO), 'shittyslant6' (FABO) and 'stroked340' (FABO), all with 23.0 bonus points.
The top FBBO picker is 'Outlawd' with 21.0 bonus points.
Great picks all!

We have 14 players this week and 11 different driver combos made up of:
* 3 different Top Fuel drivers with no head-to-head matchup in the opening round of eliminations. The earliest possibility of a head-to-head matchup is in the semi-final round of eliminations if both drivers survive the first two rounds.
* 6 different Funny Car drivers with one head-to-head matchup in the opening round of eliminations between team mates #7 qualifier Robert Hight (1 pick) and #10 qualifier John Force (4 picks). There is a possibility of two head-to-head matchups in the 2nd round of eliminations if all drivers survive Round 1.
* 3 different Pro Stock drivers. The earliest possibility of a head-to-head matchup would be the semi-final round of eliminations if the drivers survive that long.

Top Fuel is an all 3-second field for the first time the year, and the 16 Pro Stock qualifiers are separated by only only 0.1 second elapsed qualifying times.

Good luck all!
