My mistake.
Yes, you're picks are locked in.

oc, I switched to Salinas last race, so I thought that meant he was now locked in. But I'm not sure how that works. In any event, go ahead and lock what I have for Houston.
Thanks

I'm right with ya' no change...
my T/F Steve Torrence & F/C Ron Capps picks did ok,
but I'm 'still' 3rd from the bottom,
even doing well (runner up) 'for once' this year, on qualified picks

P/S Aaron Stanfield was a huge disappointment
so was P/SM Matt Smith

It's hot down here, in hell :poke:, but it's a dry heat :D

WTF I'll go 1st, can't get much worse
unfortunately some drivers I'll never ever pick
no matter how often or when they win

4 wide Concord

T/F Steve Torrence
(I can't bring myself to pick the "HOT" young guns/guys or Britany, she'll let me down,
lose at the starting line... I wish Antron Brown would get his **** together
)

F/C Ron Capps, my favorite driver in all of NHRA
(I want to pick JFR, John specifically here, but they've, him & Robert
both let me down 'of late', too many times now
)

P/SM Karen Stoffer
(I don't think I've ever picked her, she's hot right now... I want to go with Matt Smith,
but he's struggling with 'the Suzuki' program too, IMO it's only a matter of time thou
)

IMO it looks like 'Suzuki' has the advantage in the rules now...
4 valve per/cylinder 113cid, how the class has changed, yet again,
it was in favor of the Harley's & Buell's 2 valve head V twins
not anymore

anywho !!!

sucks down here :BangHead:

good luck everyone

The nhra.com website currently shows the following number of entries:

Another 4 wide...not a fan of 4 wides but here's my pics
TF= Tony Schumacher
FC= Matt Hagan
PSM= Eddie Krawiec

Good luck everybody!

I just read on competitionplus.com that Ron Capps has now partnered with Toyota and is running the new Camry funny car body instead of the Dodge Charger body.

http://competitionplus.com/drag-rac...pps-beginning-with-charlotte-4-wide-nationals
Dang it! He's one of my favorite drivers mainly because of Dodge and I'm a huge fan of "The Don" Schumacher. All my favorites drive Dodges. It was bad enough loosing Tommy Johnson Jr and Jack Beckman both guys are class acts, good with the fans. Now Capps goes foreign, that sucks ***.

All about the $$$ now he's a Team owner...

I'm with ya' he's my favorite F/C driver...

I wish he stayed with Dodge/SRT too...

I guess they (Stellantis/PSA) put all their eggs in the
Tony Stewart, Direct Connection & Dodge Power Brokers teams deal...

Ron Capps is still my favorite F/C driver, even in a Toyota,
it still has Chrysler style/based RB-Hemi, they all do...

No matter the Carbon-Fiber replica body outside on them

I don't hate Toyota's I just don't care for them 'in American racing series'
since the Toyota Mothership is in Japan, has the majority of the ownership...
BUT;
even if the fact that Toyota's are more "American Made & USA produced"
parts & components, for the units they sell here domestically
& are a 'right to work' company
'than all big three Detroit based companies are'
Ford, GM or Chrysler/Stellantis
