Hi all.
I´m in the process of repair funcionality and renew the gauges faces.
I have get all the gauges working a polished gauge surfaces from almost white to total black.
The only thing resting is a needle that only glows half lenght sometimes, sometimes glows complete.
I think it must be a circular haircrack around the neddle.
My solution would be to scrape the orange paint and aply a light coat of conductive paint in that area, and then coat with new paint.
I don´t know if it´s the correct way.
Also, I think all the needles glows little (all ones the same), or could be the much bigger glow of the circular ring when it´s out of it´s receptacle overlaps the needles.
If some of you have battled with that little thing, I would grated with some help here.

Have a nice day.

For what you describe on the needle problem, that may or may not solve your problem. You may want to check out,, Todd's Restorations – 66-67 Charger restoration
He does gauge repair and restoration for our 66-67 Charger gauges as well as other models.
twecomm, thank you for your advice, but at this moment I have repaired all the issues in the cluster except that intermitent needle faillure. Sending the cluster from Spain to USA could be high problematic.

Thank you again.

Congratulation’s on achieving what you have done. There are people in this group that would be able to give you the needed advice. If they choose to.
It would be nice to see a picture of your car. Where do you live? We have been to Spain a few times. You might find it useful to join some of the other 66-7 Charger sites.
