Has anyone upgraded their taillights to LED's?

I a number of years ago purchased and installed this 5x7 Grote LED headlight in our truck fleet. They were priced higher years ago.
I was very impressed with the light output and it's beam control. I was uncertain whether the same beam control in the smaller round 4 lamp systems.
I have already purchased the bright white Holley's, but yet to install. Your pics allay it appears any of my concerns about beam control.

I put the Holley RetroBright headlights on my daily driver 69 Corvette. Yes, I think they are stupid expensive for a headlight bulb, but then again, if they save me from hitting one deer or help me see better and drive safer, then they are worth every dime.

On my Corvette, I only replaced the High/Low bulbs. The lenses are a bit more squared off than a regular bulb, so looking at them installed next to regular bulbs you can tell they are different. In my case, for the 'Vette with concealed headlights, I could give a crap that they look different - they are only up when on. If I installed the RetroBrights on my 70 Road Runner I would want to do all four since you can see them all the time. But I don't regularly drive the 70 Road Runner at night so I haven't yet felt like I want to spend that money on it.

Not sure if this has been put out there. I believe the Holleys are a plastic lens. Vintage Car LED (??) has glass lens headlights. More expensive, but IMHO glass lens is better

No idea about the Vintage Car LEDs ...
But... Note that the Holley retrobrights use a polycarbonate lens not glass or standard plastic. Polycarbonate is a type of plastic that is well-known for its strength and durability often used for power tools housings, and 10X times stronger than glass or standard plastic. It's also UV-treated to prevent yellowing and/or cracking over time. Though glass would be an enduring, lasting finish, but would likely shatter when hit and/or under stress..

I used the Phillips LED bulbs 1157 Red and 2 LED Flashers. The below picture is just the running lights.

I bought LEDs from Classic Industries for my 67 Charger. Bought them for taillights, back up and front turn signal/parking lights. I also bought 2 led flashers for regular and four ways. For a couple of bucks more they offer polarity adapters, which I bought (and needed). Everything works great and they are much brighter.

Just finished installing Digitails in my '69 Coronet yesterday. Purchased from Classic as Digitails stated 8-12 weeks out. Got them from classic in a week. I gotta tell you I am VERY impressed with the results. Very good quality and instructions. I had previously installed just the LED bulbs and they were certainly better than the incandescent bulbs but nowhere near the Digitails. I highly recommend them.

Has anyone upgraded their taillights to LED's?
