My dad's name was Carroll, like Shelby but it doesn't stop there. I had an aunt Lolorene uncle Ora one on side. The Norwegian side gets weirder. Mom is Haldis. Aunts; Ingrid, Ingaborg, Gunnborg, Agnes. Uncles; Gjermond, and Jon. Grandparents; Mikkel and Ingrid then Charles and Cora. Charles middle name for my dad, me, my son and my nephew.

Her name was McGill and she called herself Lil, but everyone knew her as Nancy.

Someone in my family has a weird middle name....Napolean

My mom’s maiden name is Penn and she was one of two siblings, both girls. So my aunt named her son Penn to carry on the family name to an extent.
My cousin doesn’t have a totally unique name, Penn Gillette of Penn and Teller shows there’s at least 2 Penns out there.
Though not related to me, there is a local hard core gearhead whose first name is Mange. He has a car party every July called Mangefest.

You take the cake on names in your family compared to mine, far as I know. Though speaking of unusual names, do have fond memories of a gal I dated in HS having a twin-sister. Inga and Marga. They came to the US from Sweden. I dated Marga, mostly I think. They found it humorous to switch occasionally when I’d pick her up, until I got a clue what they found so funny. I then started with an immediate smushy kiss and bear-hug when she (one of them) got in the car. The imposter and her sis didn’t find that so comical..

Grand father on my dads side Adalbert. Went out for milk when my dad was 13 last he saw him. Probably died of pernicious anemia my father had it I have it. He left in 1917. What a guy!

My Grandfather was Whitfield; known as Whit. An uncle, Offa, married to Gertrude. Another uncle, Beryl.

My great grandfather on my mom's side was named Gerlando.
I had a great grandma named Flora Bell(we called her Nanny).
Nanny's grandmother's name was Weltha(she'd be my great-great-great grandma).

On my dad's side, my great grandfather's name was Jean Baptiste (French for John the Baptist).

My grandsons' names are Atticus and Hudson. I don't think Atticus had anything to do with 'To Kill A Mockingbird', his parents are 9 Inch Nails fans.
