Up till now I have been blowing dust off/out of cars and out of the shop with the air hose. My nephew was over today and said hey you have plenty of Milwaukee batteries, get one of their cordless leaf blowers I have one they work great for that.
Makes short work out of blowing the dust out of the shop!
And Ace hardware had them on sale today. The cashier girl wouldnt blow me with it tho.

Well, that blows.

Excellent choice, works well for drying the car after washing too. Just about all my shop tools are Milwaukee now. I even bought the chainsaw for quick jobs instead of fighting with the gas ones I have trying to get them running after sitting for months. The impact gun is impressive, I rarely use the air gun anymore.

I found a new use for the leaf blower; blowing accumulated lint out of your clothes dryer vent pipe. Have a helper outside to catch lint with a kitchen catcher bag.

Sure is easy walking around with that thing vs dragging hoses or cords around, I complain now when I have to use one of the corded tools I have left.

Couple of things (may just be a desert issue but food for thought)

if you rub dryers sheets on the outside and spray the inside with static guard and let dry it will cut down on how much dust and stuff sticks to the tube.

If you are using this to dry a car it's best to vacuum out and wipe down the blower head and wash the tube inside and out if you used it for anything else prior. Any dirt that comes out is going fast enough within 2 ft of blower to really jack up paint.

i use them for years, nice to blow dust and sand out the big door and use them to dry off cars, mainly the cracks and crevasses that can't be dried with a towel
