That's a perfect stance and tire combo. IMO.

yeah.. i saw another red/black rim combo on a car here.. i really need 9" dogdishes for the front though, makes a big difference
I wonder if Memike or Keith (66340sedan) on FABO have any Plymouth caps?

I have seen some for sale but people ask a bit much for my cheap butt right now... will find some eventually :) I have my original 62 hub caps and a set of 10" 62 dog dishes.. just not the 9s.

What's funny is i paid my house off (no more debt!!), then 3 weeks later my jeeps engine fell apart at 31k miles.. so had to get a new truck.. wtf! i have it down to 13k already so should have it paid off in the spring.. just annoying.. i want to waste money on junk, not pay bills :)

I love people... guy pulls in next to my car saturday at work... first thing he says "You have a small hole in the door there" Yeah.. no ****... just annoyed me. The bottom front of my drivers door has a small spot of bubbling with a small hole.. can see it above.. After all the patching and rust repair i did i just didn't do that tiny spot yet. Guy just annoyed me.. grrrr.. Might pull the door this winter and grind it down and fix/repaint it.. would like to find another door though.

Also... need to do some tuning on my carb.. Stupid tuning kit for a street demon is $130-145 which is killin me... I can get a used street avenger for $175.. and then cheap jets/power valves.. Not sure what i wanna do there.. going to get a o2 gauge setup before i do anything though so i'm not just guessing

Don't go for the avenger JMO

any reason? just curious.. i wanna keep an electric choke (love easy cold starting now that i am used to it) And kinda wanna play with vacuum secondaries.. it's just a street car..

What i hate is that i had a spare avs and 750 DP for years and i think i trashed since "I'm never getting a old car again"

They were holleys version of a " cheap" starter carb. They're always out of whack and difficult to make perform. Again, my opinion. The price does reflect that. Not very proud of what they're selling lol. A 3310 would work great. But your desire for an electric choke dampens that

Ah thanks.. i didn't know that bout the avenger... always good to learn things :)

When I finally got my grandfather's last new car the Hemi was locked from 40 years of sitting. Pulled the plugs and added some mystery oil to all the cylinders. The next day I rocked the engine back and forth with a pull handle on the crank. It freeded up, so I turned it by hand until there were no tight spots. Then I turned it with the starter until it built oil pressure and I got most of the Mystery oil out of the cylinders. Then I was able to start the engine. You need to be outside when you are able to start it, unless you have a good exhaust fan to remove the white smoke.

That's the way I would go. Economical, choke, perform well

What's the new one that looks like a Thermoquad? Any good?

That's what i have, the street demon.. and honestly it's been great but it's a bit rich and needs tuning.. the tuning kits are $125-140... and for the 750 it's like 4 metering rods and 6 jets... and i might end up needing the 650 kit to lean it enough.. which means i am now into it as much as i could buy a holley for just in tuning kits.. good carb other than that..

Thanks. I haven't been paying attention close enough. I had a T Quad on my 73 Challenger for years and Q Jets on 3 of the 4 tool trucks I owned. That design really works well. Too bad you can't buy a kit or pieces to tune yours a little leaner without buying the carb over again.

It looks like you can buy primary jets and step up springs separately from Summit. I haven't found metering rods yet.

Yeah.. RRR talked me into it.. and it's been good, no off idle issues or anything weird.. it's just a bit rich and i have a little miss when cruising around 2800 or so.. I'm going to install a o2 sensor before i do anything else though..

I wish i could get my block back from the machinist :( i think i'm near 3 months now...
