Finishing up a 16'x17' deck and my son's house next door, payback from the hvac installs in my new shop. Should be done around noon.
Ouch. Looks like they cut you pretty extensively.

Spent all Saturday with family cutting, hacking and loading a trailer to haul away about a ton of garden waste - trees trimmed, cut out and gardens de-cluttered for my elderly parents. The garden has been too much for them to manage for a couple of years now. Last time we did this was during the dark dark of the 'Rone lockdowns.
On Sunday my B.I.L. came back to help me, and between us we dumped another ton 'ish of waste at the tip. My back is feeling it now....Monday morning and I don't feel like working.....but I have to.
Silly me didn't take any before photos. There is actually daylight between the side of the house and the boundary fence now.... I saw houses I have not noticed before.
My sister was in charge of food & drinks....as she is still recovering from breaking her ankle earlier in the year.... my boys helped....and B.I.L. was a real trooper as usual. Had to keep my father away as he just wobbles around ...lol.... he leaned on the trailer for balance just after I had strapped it all down....and released one rachet strap by mistake. We had that thing packed so hard. I strapped down with what looked like a big load, then piled more on and strapped that down.
Luckily the people at the tip know me and I got a very heavy discount.

^^^^ There's a crapload more to do...but we made a healthy start. 
Down-sizing has begun..... finally convinced them to sell and buy a smaller place. They refuse to go into a retirement village....my father would be a Basil Fawlty type anyway.....so a smaller 2-3 bed and single level will be fine. The inside of the house needs more than a Marie Quando deal..... more trucks needed there I fear.

The wife had me change out the TV in the den today. I tried to pull a fast one but it didn’t fly.

Moments after leaving home it started to sprinkle, I went to the car show anyway and it turned out to be a pretty nice day...
