I'm amazed at Summit's warehouse and logistics system -- and modern logistics in general. I ordered wheels three different times from Summit in the evening after work. In all three instances they were delivered the next business day and for "free" shipping. Their system processed my order, picked the inventory, packaged it and shipped it to its destination in less than 24 hours -- three separate times.
 
I have had impressive results with Summit also. I always assumed I was just lucky because they have a wherehouse in the Reno area which isn't that far from me.
 
Yep, one of if not the best online big warehouses,
if it's in stock in the Reno Hub, I get it in 2 days
sometimes one if directly drop shipped by the mfgr
& at a great price too :thumbsup:
& for no shipping cost on my end, *over a $109 order,

*my orders are rarely less then the min.

when just the shipping is 'a logistics miracle', today
when you live in a rural co. like I do.... :thumbsup:

I try to use them whenever I can for things like paint and Evapo Rust. I usually get it the next day from their Atlanta warehouse to here in SC.

I'm a bit spoiled, as I can just go to their Reno location and pick it up, or they will, at times, do it the same day. Most items I buy are not for older vehicles but for my 2 current ones, like fluids, etc. Just a note that if any of y'all need something and some help in getting it to you, I am more than willing to help y'all out. I am in Australia & Summit are pleasure to deal with. They even list the cost of freight at the time of ordering with several suppliers, such as Fedex, DHL, so you get a choice, & there is no delay getting shipping quotes.
 
I get great service from Summit also. almost anything they list in stock is shipped to Hawaii in two days, and the shipping cost is reasonable.
 
I've said it many times to people I work with when talking about exemplary companies that set a high standard of excellence with the best customer satisfaction, easy to deal with, lightning fast shipping, awesome return policy, good prices, and a very user friendly website - Summit Racing is my favorite supplier ever and an excellent example for other companies of how a company should operate.

Like others are already stating, I live in San Jose, CA, a good 4hrs away from Reno, and if I place an order late Thursday afternoon/early evening, the shipment will usually arrive on my doorstep before noon the next day. I still can't believe it. Super Impressive!
 
Except for a few surprising delays they usually get my orders to me super quick as well, I’ve ordered stuff early in the week hoping to have it for the weekend project, then it arrives the following day, which makes me start the project early and then have a boring weekend :lol:

The only exception to that I will say is that all international orders seem to be handled by the one Warehouse in Ohio. If that warehouse doesn't have the items you want in stock, they will not be able to sell it or ship the items out. They don't seem to like transferring between warehouses, unlike Rock Auto, who will send me 6 items from four warehouses, and not charge extra of course.
You will however more than likely get a fridge magnet from every warehouse from Rock Auto. :)

Summit International orders are usually pretty fast to me - around one week when things are running normal. :thumbsup:
