When I took my front end apart it had this weird bolt on sway bar contraption that was falling apart. I installed a set of Bergman weld on tabs on my Lower Control Arm, these are welded inboard of the Strut rod. after reassembling my front end I realized that the tab location was about 4"...
Good morning all. A year ago when I started working on my 66 Charger I removed the sway bar to rebuild the front end. now a year later In trying to reinstall it and I cant remember for the life of me how the brackets affix to the K member to hold the sway bar up. Does anyone have any photos so...
OK I recently rebuilt my front end replaced all the bushings and installed a Borgeson Steering box on my 66 Charger. When I took the Torsion bars out I forgot to count how many turns it too get them loose. Does anyone have a good Idea as to where toset them to start off? I think I already...
Ok I know this subject has been beaten half to death but I have a question. All of the posts I have read say to remove the limiting bump stop and shock absorber prior to Stabbing the torsion bar into the socket but the Shop Manual says to attach the shock first. which way is right?
Good morning all,
I recently bought new Torsion Bar adjuster Bolt and Bracket from Rare Parts. Yesterday as I was putting my Lower Control Arm in I noticed the bolt provided in the new kit is about 3/4" shorter than the one I'm replacing, do you think this is OK?
I don't remember how far the...
Ok not to sound like an idiot the center link is installed with the bend angled towards the rear, correct? I’m suffering from CRS and cant remember how it came off doh….
While cleaning and painting my Lca struts I not8ced the ends look deformed. I'd this normal or should I think sbout replacing them. They appear to be after market as they don't have a hole for a cotter key.
Yesterday while while I was torquing down my Borgeson Steering box one of the bolts felt funny (like it was trying to give out) and another broke the hardened washer ( further inspection revealed the washer had a crack before I broke it). I was torquing the bolts using the instructions provided...
I'm in the middle of the Borgeson Power Steering conversion. are there any good instructions here on the Modifications required to the Steering shaft. Im just trying to make sure I get it right.

On my master cylinder from Dr. Dif. It’s the Saynco master cylinder. I think the back port is for the Front brakes and the front port ids for the back. I’m trying to re-pipe my whole brake system.
While taking my upper control arm I found the bolts were so tight I had to use a 4 foot cheater to get them off. In the process the adjustment pockets were galled. I think I can clean them up with my Dremel tool and put some paint to preserve it any comments?
Has anyone tried the Prothane Lower control arm bushings. These do not require you to remove the inner and outer sleeves from the old rubber bushing. Apparently all you do is clean up the existing sleeves real good then press the well lubricated urethane bushing into the old sleeve. I have a...
Bought a Disk brake conversion kit from Dr. Diff. the kit is awesome and nicely organized. I have a question about the master cylinder and distribution block.
The outlet hole on the Master cylinder and the distro block inlet for the Front (Disk) brake side is bigger than the one for the back...
I have a “new to me” 1966 Charger I found somthing weird that the PO did. Has anyone ever seen steel plates bolted to the LC arm for attaching the sway bar? This looks sketchy to me. Any suggestions to do it correctly
