Just go easy when starting the die. The studs are already buggered up a bit. They are soft and will thread easy.

I know when you add weight to those panels they will want to rip on the two mounting slotted areas. I drilled and added two push pins to keep it in place. Those panels are made cheap and might vary between vendors.

Actually that screw does not go into the tunnel, it goes into the side of the front console bracket.
