Sorry guys; Not a B body question
My current project is a 62 D100. Trying to get info on what modern-day steering wheel can be used.
The original wheel must be 18" or more and I got to get it off my stomach ( I lost a few pounds, but still not enough).
I converted to power steering, so a...
My 66 Coronet 500 has been completed for 4 years now.
Originally born with a 2bbl and single exhaust, I changed out the cam with something for a 4bbl and added dual exhaust.
The car runs well...that is to say that it starts up nice and has enough power to get up my hill...with the Edelbrock...
I got a new project: a 1962 Dodge D100 pickup. There were soo few made with power steering, that the original equipment can't be found.
I bought a kit from "Easy Street" and with a lot of fuss, i got the knuckle into a spot, that it might actually work. The pump that was supplied, cannot.

I have a set of 4 door seats from a parts car that's long gone. I kept the seats because they had been recently re-upholstered and better than "good".
Tan in color
I thought that I'd use them as seating in a "man cave", but ain't got no room for dat!
If you have any interest, please make an...
Has anyone had success with "spray can chrome"?
The cap on the cans look perfect, but the parts come out looking like grey paint.
Maybe good looking chrome is not possible from a can..Melowto (or something like that) makes a marker that is good, but broad surfaces are a challenge.
Hi Y'all
Seems to me that we have a golden opportunity to create a picture library of all makes/models & options for our cars....as they were originally like.
Someday these details will be hard to find. Members are always asking for pics...we could categorize these and preserve
Just thinking
I know, not a B body, but you guys have helped in the past.
My new project is a 62 D100 pickup. You need to be in good shape to turn this som-bitch, so I'm going to add PS to it.
Any have a knuckle, or a direction to go?
Thank you
I'd like to see detailed photo's of cars in their original factory form...while they may still exist.
Could go on to modified's and and crazy modified's
My main interests would be to preserve the images of originality
Hi Guys;
I've had my Coronet complete now for 4 years. Thank you to all the help along the way.
I'm back to the well again.
My mission was to make the car just as it rolled off the assembly line, a 1 of 373 cars made, sporting the 500 package, big block, factory 4 speed. The engine is the...
I know that I'm not in the "correct" spot for this post, but...
For my latest Dodge project:
I'm looking for a new fuel tank for my "62" Dodge D100 pickup. I believe 61-65...maybe even all the way up to 69, would fit.
The existing tank is rusty, maybe too rusty to save, certainly too rusty to...

I don't know if anyone actually ever completes a restoration, seems that there is always something that can be improved...or that I just don't like.
This is the same car I've asked for help with for the last 6 years.
The original fuel tank was questionable, so I opted to replace it ( probably...
I have a 66 Coronet with a 361, it's the original engine. The engine was totally rebuilt and remains a true 361, as far as displacement goes.
Changes that I made along the way:
I put in a more aggressive cam
Installed a 4bbl Edelbrock 1406 on a original Mopar, year correct manifold
Dual...
I have two 66 Mopars, a Coronet 500 and a Barracuda. Both seem to have a similar issue, dash lights are dim. Perhaps my 2017 daily driver is just extra bright, but unless its dark outside ( I mean really dark) you would barely know they were on in either of my two classics. I replaced all the...
She's running a little hot
My Coronet 500 radiator #2582945 does not have a shroud, not sure if it came with one.
Is there one out there that fits? It's a 22"er...It's an original 361 car, and the radiator is only a two-row.
Does anyone have one to sell?
I'm thinking about contacting Chrysler for anything that they could have on my 66 Coronet 500. Where it was shipped to and possibly a "build sheet". I think a snowball in hell might have a better chance, but every year that goes by, the possibility must be diminishing.
Has anyone had luck...
