I just bought the Sunsong hose and I cannot figure the correct routing. I have a 67 Satellite with the 318.
Can someone take a picture of the correct routing this hose is supposed to take?
I don't know if my wiper switch (it have it out of the car) or the motor is bad.
See attached photo, can I apply power to one of these connectors to see if my motor is working? I'd like to verify the motor works before I spend $$$ on a switch.
The switch does operate the washer motor...
I'm working to get my headliner down, I've removed the trim over the door and windshield, but this one on the A pillar is loose the screws are out, but it doesn't want to come free.
I don't want to force it or yank on it.
Suggestions?
Excellent condition.
Came out of my 67 Satellite, I rebuilt them myself, all new seats buns.
The pdf attached here shows my complete rebuild process.
Near San Diego. Not sure about shipping, I'm looking into that now.
$650 for the pair, does not include shipping, I posted these before, but...
I have my instrument panel apart and I noticed there is small foam pads around the light nacelles, not sure what to call them. But the two green turn signal lenses have small pieces of foam surrounding the nacelle. Can these be purchased? Or do I just make my own?
Looks like attached photo
I pulled the metering rod from my AVS2 Edelbrock 650. It has the number 7037 on it. I can’t find any info on it. Is that a part number? What metering rod would 1 step larger and smaller?
I had just finished a low and slow drive down Grand in Escondido CA. Opening of Crusin Grand. Anyway, the temp went up a little nothing to worry about.
On the way home I decided to open it up a little, so when it was safe, I stepped into it.
As the revs built, it sounded like it was popping...

See attached picture. According to the service manual this line is the intermediate filling vent tube, connected with a keystone clamp.
When I gas up, fuel leaks from this connector.
Do I just replace the connector or is something else going on?
I replaced the drivers rear wheel cylinder and tried to bleed it with a vacuum pump. But I still have air in the line.
I'll try again, but what is this device on the rear axle housing? See arrow...
Does this prevent vacuum bleeding or do I need to use the "pump the brakes and open the...
I have Weld draglites and I have Weld lug nuts too. Every couple of weeks I have to re-torque the fronts, I don't have this problem with the rears.
I torque to 85lbs.
Anyone have this problem?
Can I use thread locker on them?
I was in the process or ordering new rear brakes shoes from my 67 318 Satellite with an 8 3/4" rear. Apparently, the drums can be either 10" or 11".
Do I need to pull the wheels to find out? Or does someone know?
When I built my 318 engine I installed an Edelbrock performer intake, which is a spread-bore style intake. I then installed an Edelbrock square bore 650cfm carb. I had only installed a spacer but no adapter of any kind.
I was watching Derek Bieri revive an old 50 Chevy also with a spread bore...
Having a real problem with this rim. I believe it's a Drag Light? It's date stamped 12-04. They came on the car, so I have no history. Anyway, I was getting a weird grinding noise and taking a closer look at this rim, something seems to be wrong. Maybe I'm not getting a good seat to the...
67 Satellite, front drum brakes
I just replaced the outer bearings but I'm still getting noise.
To get to the inner bearings, does the brake assembly need to come off?
Any pictures?
67 Satellite automatic with floor console.
I just replaced my floor pans and I need to reposition the gas pedal and drill new holes in the floor.
Any suggestions?
No, I didn't measure the location of the pedal when I tool out the old one
67 Satellite
I just purchased a radio from retro sound and I've been on the phone with them a few times trying to locate a correct faceplate for my 67.
The dash has a bulge so I'm thinking a specific faceplate is needed. Does the radio opening look altered?
Any suggestions?
