I have a mostly original 67 Coronet 440 rag top that has its original chrome trim throuhout. Much of it is pitted but in great shape. Is it cheaper to send it out somwhere or just have it down locally? I was going to send it out/have it done, a few pieces at a time. (Windshield trim etc)

I just took delivery of a new Budge Car Cover Model RB-4 for a B Body and it is too tight for my 67 Coronet 440 drop top. I talked to them and they said it should fit but it is way too tight. In fact we ripped it trying to pull it on. They are sending me a refund... Thank god.

I have a set of tires on my recently purchsed 67 Coronet that are in new condition but from 2001. They have no obvious dry rot or cracking other that some hairline cracks on the inside of the tread.
Any thoughts on driving on these tires and safety aspect?
