    69 Satellite - Bumper removal / assembly

Hey guys..so after a year or so of slowly gathering parts here and there on a budget, I'm ready (I think) to give my 69 a facelift from its current beat up state. I will be swapping out the front bumper, the bumper filler, and the center grille section. Ive been looking online, but is there...

I'm aware of that. Also that he heard it from a buddy who heard it on the radio. Ever play telephone?

eminent domain. As someone already mentioned, if it's a public safety or health hazard and the owner does not address the problem, then its a valid option. And they don't "just take it away" - you have to be properly compensated. It's not me talking out of my ***, its in the Constitution...

    Shaker hood returns

hate to tell ya this brah, but the only people who care about the collectability of those limited edition cars are...the people who buy them as an investment. Seen a lot of numbered 2008 Challengers that sold new for $50K go for $30K or less. Thing is, there is nothing about them that sets them...

    Shaker hood returns

BFD...aftermarket shaker hood kits have been available for years. Cheaper too. But you know they'll be a bunch of suckers lining up to buy them and parking them in their garage and put tire warmers on them hoping that they'll be able to sell it for a fortune in 20 years. because "limited...

    info on new challenger

depends on whether you really want or need that performance "out of the box". Right now, there's a 100 hp difference between an R/T and SRT. You could get an R/T there with a supercharger and/or an engine build, but thatll run you about about $10K itself. As far as the suspension, brakes...

    info on new challenger

2010 R/T, deep water blue It's technically the wife-mobile so its relatively tame as far as mods go (lowered, MOPAR CAI, reso delete and Thrush Welded muffs). Yes, stock it will get smoked by a 5.0 or a Camaro SS. But considering its a daily driver and I'm not using it to run 200 mph mile speed...

    68-69 Plymouths in NASCAR...

Kind of an oddball question...but besides the 70 'bird..did the Satellite/RR/GTX/Belvedere ever run in NASCAR in the late 60's? If I remember correctly, Petty was running Fords those years...so who ran them, if at all? Kinda curious, b/c i think itd be cool to do a "tribute" car to that era...

20 inch wheels on 73 charger

see, your car is a good example of how the big wheel look can work with the right wheel fit and style. unfortunately, most people just get the ugliest, cheapest, chrome wheels they can find and throw it on an old car...for the sake of saying theyre rolling on dubs. and it sucks.

20 inch wheels on 73 charger

they might but youll need a really low profile tire, which will a)make the ride quality miserable and b) make the wheels and other suspension components more susceptible to damage (and bent wheels are no fun). Don't get me wrong, I totally dig big wheels (22" Torq Thrusts on my 08 Charger and...

Help! New Wheels + Tires = Bad Front end clunk/noise

I was told that messing w the torsion bars to lower it will totally screw up the alignment and that the rear leaf springs will help with the stance. I saved a LOT more than $800...the highly recommended, well reputed shop i went to quoted me about $1500 in labor alone.

Help! New Wheels + Tires = Bad Front end clunk/noise

since I know you guys are dying for another update...:jerk: It took 2 months to get a hold of my buddy and the car into his shop, but the wait was well worth it (saved a significant amount of $$$ on labor). New LCA's and Strut Rod bushings = car drives sooo much better. It didn't help that the...
