    Reproduction hood pins

I ordered these as a Mopar official licensed product. What a joke! The chrome plates that screw to the hood are basically stickers. I measured them at a whopping 1/64th" thick! No washers, no rubber. I put an original thicker pin in the pic for comparison. I'm sure Mancini has good stuff, but...

    Console woodgrain clips

I'm trying to get these clips off that hold on the woodgrain panels on the console for a '70 GTX. I'd like to cut them off so I don't break a stud. I can't find any reproductions. Does anyone know where to find these? Or a way to get them off? Thanks for any help!!

    Eastwood 2k ceramic chassis black

    The Satellite is gone!

So, there was a '70 Satellite at my local salvage yard I have been picking away at. At first, I could get parts off it, then it was off limits. Lately, I was able to get parts off it again. I went out there today to get the vent windows and it was gone! The lady working said they brought in...

    Lower control arms are done!

These things have been kinda hanging over my head like a black cloud and now they are done!! Woo hoo!! Of course, the bushings are a bitch to remove and install. My girlfriend's son welded the stiffening plates on and did an awesome job. I've never used 2 part paint in my garage before. I...

    Hughes or Harland Sharp rockers

So, I made the decision to buy rockers from Hughes. A couple weeks later nothing had shown up and no charge to my card. Rather than call them to see what was up I decided to be a dumbass and ordered some Harland Sharp ones. Those showed up and of course the Hughes ones showed up a couple days...

    Broken motor mount

I was taking this 440 apart to check it out and see if its sellable. I found this broken ear for the motor mount. I'm sure this is a high stress area and I'm not a welder. Does it make this block junk?

    Preserving new tie-rods and ball-joints

So, I'm wondering what you guys have had success with keeping these things looking new. Boeshield, RPM, clear coat? Also, a book I have says to media blast the upper control arm bushings before installing. What is the purpose of that? Thanks for any input!

Who runs 4 drums no booster?

I'm pretty sure this is how I'm going to set my car up mostly because that is how the car was when I got it. And, the engine compartment looks great with no worries of a booster taking up the vacuum! When I first put the car together the brakes worked other than one time when my friend gunned...

    My torsion bar removal tool.

This worked great for me! I drilled a 1" hole in about a foot long 2×4 and a few holes for bolts perpendicular to that and cut the thing in half. Just fasten the thing to the torsion bar and hammer away! Simple, it works and most people would have the materials on hand.

    Rebirth of my 1970 GTX!

Well, I think it's time to start this thing up! Some of you might have seen a few posts of the progress on the car but I may as well get it all in one spot and start at the beginning. I call a rebirth because many people told me my car was done, fubar, not fixable, parts car... blah, blah...

    WTB 1970 440 engine block

Paint is done and now I need a block to rebuild! The motor I have was cast on 10-11-67. I spent an arm and a leg on paint so It's the least I could do to put in the correct year block! I see one on ebay right now for $2900 for a bare block. That seems a bit pricy. So, if anyone has one...

    I'm going gator grain!

Yeah, these tops are expensive as hell but it's going to look so cool on a limelight GTX! I got it from Legendary and the quality looks great! I'm a flooring installer so I've glued down hundreds of vinyls, just never on top of a car before. Pretty sure I can get it right but any tips are...

    69 or 70 battery tray

Can anyone tell if this could use a 69 or 70 battery tray? It is a 69 front clip on a 70 GTX. The shop was supposed to modify all the mounting holes to be correct for my car but I'm not sure what they did here. 69's have 2 supports which looks right for what I have and 70's have 1 support. Thanks!

    26" radiator mounting holes

Hi, can someone help out and check the distance from the mounting holes for a 26" inch radiator? It's on a '70 GTX. I replaced the whole front clip from a donor and the guy said it was for a 26" radiator I just want to confirm. I'm getting 31 3/8" from the top passenger hole to bottom drivers...

    Happy day!!!

The GTX is out of jail and free to roam about the country! At least from Wisconsin to North Dakota. Two years in the shop and a fresh coat of lime-light green!! The shipper should have it here around 5 or 6 tonight. Stay tuned for some pics in my garage. I'm super stoked!!!
