Does anyone have a lifter box they are willing to part with? I'm going to freshen up my engine and reuse the cam and lifters but have no box....For a 440 with hydraulic lifters.
I did a swap in my 1972 Satellite from a 318 to a 440 and looking for radiator hose part numbers. It was a 318 car with AC and I am reusing that 26" radiator. The lower hose is passenger's side discharge, the upper is driver's side.
Before I dive into this I wanted to get some input since I am clueless about electrical stuff.
Bright headlights only, no tail lights, do have brake lights, no marker lights, left turn signal works fine, right turn signal in front is fine but in the rear both left and right blink like I have...
I am doing a low cost father son 400 build (strokers are out) and I am looking for a piston recommendation. The block is a standard bore 400, a 383 forged crank, 452 heads and 440 Source factory style connection rods. The car (72 Satellite) is a street car, 3.55 gears and a 727 with 2400-2600...

Anyone have a set of Mopar P4120077 Offset hangers that they would be willing to make a pattern/drawing of? I'm trying to locate a set but need a plan b if I can't find a set.
Any '65 and newer Dana 60 or 8 3/4" rearend with a 5 x 4 1/2" bolt pattern can use the same 10 x 2 1/2" backing plates. But, will the 10 x 2 1/2" backing plates from a 8 1/4 with a 5 x 4 1/2 bolt pattern fit the Dana and 8 3/4 also?
I opened up a junkyard 400 I bought to inspect it and saw a dark spot on each cylinder wall like the one pictured...all 8 have it. I have never seen this before, thoughts? The spot is smooth to the touch, if you felt it with your eyes closed you would not feel a thing.
I hope posting this in not inappropriate but thought I would share a good deal with others. I noticed that Home Depot lowered the price on the Lincoln 140 HD MIG Welders and since I have been looking for a new welder I decided to jump on one, at check out I was given another $50.00 off if I...
