My antenna on 67 GTX has come loose. Does anyone have a service manual picture of what the inside of fender looks like before I tackle this? And any suggestions on how to tighten.
I can get my hand in there but it's tight.
Thanks,
Craig.
I have attached a picture of the heater core pulled out of a 67 Coronet which is believed to be incorrect. The garage I use is looking for an accurate replacement. Does anyone have one and price.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Looking to do a clean up and maybe touch up with paint on the attached pictures.
On the smaller bezel I've heard to cover silver markings with Vaseline and then spray. Apparently the Vaseline protects the markings and then you wipe off.
I have Meguiar's PlastX for the cluster. But painting...
Looking for Mechanical dual or triple to locate somewhere with least amount of drilling if any.
Also, where is a good place to locate aftermarket tach?
Any pics would be great and recommended manufacturer.
I've read and heard good things about AutoMeter but they seem pricey.
Thanks.
What is the attached? It's very hard to read because all I have is a copy.
I just found it digging through paperwork previous owner gave me of GTX.
My build sheet from Challenger is a full sheet of paper. Could this be a build sheet?
Thanks.
Is there a shorter performance intake out there that would help me with hood clearance on a 67 GTX?
Starting re-build process and don't want to come across this issue too late in the game.
Would like to use RPM Edelbrock but am open to other suggestions. With Holley 750ish carb and will use...
Need to replace the inside gasket on flip top cap for 67 GTX. Where can I get one and what adhesive to use?
I have seen some options in catalog but want to make sure I'm right.
Thanks.
This is the carb on my 67 GTX. It has no markings I can see such as Carter or Made in USA like the other old Carters I have. Can anyone tell me what carb this is and or size ?
It has the tag on it with the #4329S or (3). Could this be original to the car?
Thanks.
I have A/C on the 67 GTX which I never use nor do I use heater.
Was driving it this weekend and noticed heat coming out like I had fan on. No fan on and off button was pushed in with temp lever all the way to left (cooler).
I pushed other buttons just to see and still heat.
What is the easiest...
Right after I have put gas (93 Octane) in the last few times she will do some heavy hesitating during the ride just for a few seconds. Other times when I drive she is fine.
Should I consider putting in some Octane additive when putting in fuel?
Or could this be some other fuel/carb issue...
1967 GTX. It looks like if I take the bezel out of the dash the instruments come with it.
I want to send the bezel off to get restored.
So am I right that the instruments come out with the bezel? Or is there another way I am missing?
Thanks.
Want to convert factory radio to FM.
67 GTX with AC. Looks like a bear to remove with the black vent there behind it.
Any recommendations on best way to remove.
Thanks.
Need to replace dash bezel for 67 GTX w/AC. Only place I could find a new was Classic Industries and they are back ordered till December.
I tried all the other Mopar Wholesalers but maybe missed somebody.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
I have a nice flannel car cover on another car and it fits pretty good. I like the flannel.
Does anyone use a specific car cover for 67 GTX? Looks like fitment could be an issue.
Or should I just use old quilts. This is for indoor.
Thanks.
Looking for the best stance (strong and original) using newer factory looking Magnum
Wheels in 15" on a 67 Satellite. I like the look of the BFG's raised white letters.
Any suggestion on tire size to give me a great looking stance and no issues with fitting would be appreciated.
I'm sure...
