Well after 4 years of driving it I decided to sell the car. So it is off living with its new owner (who I hope enjoys it). I got the itch to play with something else...so I bought this Charger....

Needs a little love, its a 2011 Charger Mopar11 edition, 1 of 1500 made with all the goodies like the super track pack, upgraded suspension, brakes, sway bars, strut braces, etc. Previous owner snapped the timing chain and didn't want to pay to fix it, so I stepped in... So far the plan is to rebuild the engine (not completely stock) and see how it drives. (oh and fix the body damage. I already started on that)

Already purchased an upgraded cam, pushrods, springs and timing set for it. Still looking for some other parts I want.

Well I've been hauling on this...fixed the door (I am realizing I need better tools for filler work, I wish I had used a longer sanding block) but overall its better than it was. Painted the doors and the replacement fender, installed the new core support and pretty much finished the body work. It looks good but not pro-level...about as good as expected from an amateur using a cheap gun in a garage. Hope to start working on the engine this week.

Very sharp looking Charger, I really like the front end and scalloped doors on those plus the black rims finish it off nicely. I must say I hate to see the 67 go though.

Thanks 747. Yeah, I had a lot of mixed feelings but I was ready. I honestly haven't really felt remorse for selling it and am just excited to finish building this. (while not nearly as labor intensive as the 67). And it is a much better fit for the family. My wife didn't love taking out the 67 because of safety equipment for the kids, lack of A/C, and loudness...well I don't think this will be quieter...but the other issues are significantly improved. And I do love the styling of these.

Car has been running for a while....its an animal! really nothing to show...I guess somebody needs to film a big smoky burn out.
