1968 383 Rebuild

I've takin apart a couple of un-raped 383's and I haven't seen a head gasket on the tree of them, OKAY! Just take it for what it's worth from my experience. I'm not tryin to play a Pinocchio here, just tellin what I've experienced & seen, OK? DBAD!

That's crazy! I'm not doubting you,just never saw that.

Here's the factory head gasket on the un- touched 67 383 I tore apart

Sorta looks like the top of the block in a bad light
or if you're stoned
passes the "it's not a fel-pro" test
what would you think if you had only seen fel-pros and never seen a shim?
