core support and trunk gutter numbers match the number on the fender tag, not the VIN

69 and up used partial VIN in those places

Do you have the broadcast sheet that matches your vin?

The number on the engine and transmission match the VIN number on the dash.
The numbers on the core support and trunk rail are the Shipping Order numbers and match the fender tag.

Both numbers can be tied together by documents such as the broadcast sheet or window sticker or other not as common dealer/factory documents like invoices.

Numbers everywhere else is Sales/Shipping Order numbers.

motor and trans stamped near bell housing will match partial vin last couple digits
