69 and up used partial VIN in those places

The number on the engine and transmission match the VIN number on the dash.
The numbers on the core support and trunk rail are the Shipping Order numbers and match the fender tag.

Both numbers can be tied together by documents such as the broadcast sheet or window sticker or other not as common dealer/factory documents like invoices.

WE have not Looked for the Broadcast sheet. Will tear interior apart in Spring when get out of Storage 62,000 miles unmolested.
