I'm still stripping old stuff off and working the firewall and inside the truck. I thought the trunk was big. But not so much when I'm in it sanding etc.

Did you do anything on the interior roof.

Yup was in the trunk working as well. Great on the back lol. As to the roof…since I replaced my skin with an AMD skin its all new. I did resurface to bare metal the crossbows and shot them with primer. You can still see the AMD sticker on the indise roof skin.

I like the orange best but the Sublime rocks too. Hard choice.

With the cooler weather here and most of my other priority work done I am now able to get back on the car. Making quick progress surprisingly. I am getting to a completion point of what I call phase 1 body work done. I have the trunk lid and driver door that needs to get to the level of the rest of the car.
Phase 1 is all metal work completed and initial body work (first cut) and epoxy primer complete.
Next step will be to flood the car with a high build polyester primer for final body prep prior to paint. Any suggestions as to what grit paper for that should be used prior to paint? Here are a few pics.

Looking good. If I left panels bare up here like that, they'd be nothing but rust. You're lucky to have low humidity. Car is looking great. Love that body style.

One more vote for orange, it looks great on 70 sat/rr/GTX. In the early 80s as a kid in Phoenix, on my way to/from school I would pass a house with an orange 70 RR in the driveway. Great looking car.
Travis..
