Thanks. It's PPG EK2 as it was in 1970 so they say. Here is a close up of the fine metallic in the paint.

What is your opinion of the Air Grabber hood you bought from AMD? Fit, etc good?

The fit was great. The fiberglass scoop comes w/hood so that fit was also good. My original hood was decent except for where someone torched through the support where the hood bolts to the hinges. It could have been fixed, but I decided to go AMD route.

I got lucky finding the guy doing mine, straight forward no BS for sure.

I got lucky too. Eldubb (on FBBO) did my car. He did it as promised, and you can tell he cares about the work and craftsmanship he puts into his cars. Most importantly, almost 5 years later my car STILL looks good. No rust or problem areas related to any of the work he did.

Having said that, I feel bodywork is the biggest problem area relating to restorations. There seem to be so many issues people have getting respectable work done.

Bead blasted and satin cleared the headlight buckets which had been painted sometime during cars life. I have the entire rebuild kit (springs, screws, adjusters, etc) just wanted to see the buckets against the orange background.
