1973-1974 Roadrunner & GTX and Satellite Pic Thread

I love that Runner man! I think I have seen this car on youtube with a great 180 from a take off. Tell me if that is the car? I have liked that video and I think I have tweeted it a few times.

Great looking car man and wow I love it!

Wow, I have been looking for this Orange car for a month online! My daughter wants to paint her 73 340 the same color. Vitamin C orange?

Been off the forum for a while. Big changes in my life. Now I'm a widower, grandfather, and this week I finally found a 73 Plymouth Satellite Sebring. It's being delivered tomorrow. A lot more expensive NOW than almost 20 years ago, but what the heck.

Definitely a work in progress. But hey it looks good just sitting there.

Installing the rebuilt rear end and new springs, looking forward to another drive.

Is that the one from Florida.

If so, yes, that was way overpriced the last few times it was listed locally basically nice Raodrunner money.

...but it looks nice.

Beautiful looking car and really nice looking pictures. Almost looks like there should be a ACME sign or a pile of bird seed in a couple of those pictures. How many miles did you put on it during that trip?
Haha. The bird seed was hidden behind the car in a few pictures!

We drove 11,057 miles on the trip. Basically, we took a southerly route going West and a more Northerly route coming back East. In case you are interested, the thread where we documented the trip is here:

What a cool trip!!! I will definitely sit down and go thru your trip thread this evening. We did this 2x's as kids with my parents back in the 70's. We had some great memories and saw so much of the country, of course we didnt get to do it in a cool car though. My dad ran a Ford store back then and we took a new Econoline both times and tent camped. More people should take the time and do this!!!

Yeah, it was that one. It was way overpriced, but I kept an eye on it. When they dramatically dropped the price I pounced on it. Getting it back to what I consider normal is an investment unto itself. New wheels, new exhaust system, new visors, etc. Keeping it a Satellite Sebring. No clone planned.

Thanks.

Are those chrome hoop Magnum 500's?

If they are, I'd strongly consider leaving them without rings.

The look good in the pic.

Rings will scratch the heck out of the chrome.
