Closing up seams in the rear.
Actually neither. Burnt orange.Have you decided how you will refinish the underside of the car yet? Factory appearance or all body color gloss? I enjoy seeing a build making progress, even if it’s not mine
Love those colors, it’s looking incredible!
708 hours of metal work so far. About 95% finished. Next up is a lot of sanding and smoothing weld spatter and such. Then sealers and POR15. Will post some wide shots of whole car soon.Dang, that is a LOT of work.
You go!
Look at it this way, it's a lot cheaper than cocaine and strip clubs.. looking forward to your next post708 hours of metal work so far. About 95% finished. Next up is a lot of sanding and smoothing weld spatter and such. Then sealers and POR15. Will post some wide shots of whole car soon.
True. If only I could get that money back. I could have bigger garages and more cars. Well at least I have those fond memories. What I can remember anyways.Look at it this way, it's a lot cheaper than cocaine and strip clubs.. looking forward to your next post
Great build and amazing progress! Keep pushing and posting updates.
When I was 17 or 18 a friend had a 73 and 74 ,both were B5 Blue. The 74 had the 400cid.
I think you could order them with any color stripes, but I may be wrong. What color stripes did the B5 cars have?
Everything I’ve seen or read, each color had a “preferred” stripe color for each painted color. Orders that did not conform to this “recommendation” needed a waiver signed that the cars were not miss-ordered and you actually wanted this combination. My car is one of these combinations. I’ve never seen another Plymouth this scheme but I have seen 1 charger picture after a lot of searching. Mine is B5 with red stripes. I always ask anytime someone says they have a B5 car, it’s got to be 1 of very few just based on color before considering what the car itself is.
I've seen several TB3 (Petty/corporate blue) 73 cars with red stripes.
I've never seen "parchment", but a few gold.
Don't think I've seen a green stipe either.
That’s. What I meant. You could order them anyway you liked. I’m not sure how the factory decided what stripes and color combinations to use. Maybe it depended on how they were feeling that day. It would be neat if someone could post a directive from Chrysler on what factory combos were supposed to be.Everything I’ve seen or read, each color had a “preferred” stripe color for each painted color.
