Checking through my old records I came across some more 300's. Unfortunately they were all at Mitchell Motor Parts in Fairmount GA in their salvage area.
SS22L9R169524, SS22L9R169618, SS22L9R170032, SS22L9R170303, SS22L9R170306, SS22L9R170307, SS22L9R170547 and SS22L9R170573.
As stated they are all salvage.Out of the group the only one I could tell that had any noticeable option was SS22L9R170573 as it has T-Tops.

These are just as important to get an accurate count as to how many are still on the road. That was my original intent, I was curious to see how many were left. A friend of mine has a 1958 Oldsmobile (something or other) that he found out was one of 6 left derivable and on the road!

I added these 5 VINs, we are up to 177 with 46 confirmed crushed, parting out or in a salvage yard

Those are hard to find in good condition. I have a few extras that need help, missing some of the color or faded.

I am compiling list of VINs for our 1979 300s. I know there are some registries out there already but most don't seem to be updated or edited much in years. I pulled about 50 VINs off of one that was last edited in 2004 and will build off of that! Even if you know of one in a junk yard or sold yours and know where it is, let me know!

If everyone can send me the following information I will add you to my list! You can PM me or post it in this thread.
1. VIN
2. Name (optional)
3. City & State
4. Date of Manufacture
5. Options, T-Tops, Moon roof etc.
Hello Northeast 300,
I own two, had a third. Also some parts cars. I am a little gabadose. Purpose of the list?

I started trying to find out how many '79 300s were still around and or still being used. I have close to 200 so far with about 45 of those confirmed crushed or being parted out. If you want to add yours to the list that would be great! You can PM me the info!

As LS-300 said, I am going to assume this one is gone! But, I will add the VIN to the list anyway.

Just a follow-up to confirm that the car was parted out and scrapped a number of years ago. I purchased the fender tags off of ebay and they are now in my stash of trivial trinkets. The ebay seller of the fender tags no longer has any other parts from the car. They were sold a long time ago.

"The first '79 300, vehicle identification number (VIN) SS22L9R139989, was a Cordoba which was converted at Chrysler's Clairpoint pre-production plant."

"Three of the VINs for the red cars are known: SS22K9R214547, SS22G9R214545 and SS22K9R214644. One could speculate that since these VINs are close to being consecutive, all seven may be contained within the 21454x to 21464x range."
