Interesting thing I noticed on the nhra.com entry list for Top Fuel is that Leah Pritchett's entry is again listed as "DSR Top Fuel Team" rather than a sponsor name.

Here are the results and point standings following completion of the 7th NHRA event of the 2019 season, the 40th annual Arby's NHRA Southern Nationals.

Congratulations to game leader 'cuda20' (FABO) for winning the "Top Picker Eliminator" title for the 40th annual Arby's Southern Nationals with a very nice total of 123.5 points. He was helped with ET bonus points in both Funny Car and Pro Stock Motorcycle and Speed bonus points in both Top Fuel and Funny Car. He picked the class winner in Top Fuel and his Funny Car and Pro Stock Motorcycle picks went to the semi-finals before losing.
'Back in Time' (FABO) and 'Budnicks' (FBBO) tied for the event runner-up spot with 118.5 points.

The 8th race of the 2019 season, the NHRA Virginia Nationals, is May 17-19 at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, Virginia.
Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle are all competing at this event.
As always, your picks need to be posted before Pro Qualifying starts on Friday, May 17th in order to qualify for all event bonus points. Pro qualifying is scheduled to start at 1:45PM EDT (10:45 PM PDT).
The Virginia Nationals entry list is posted on NHRA.com and currently shows 18 Top Fuel, 16 Funny Car, 15 Pro Stock and 15 Pro Stock Motorcycle entries but that is always subject to change. Keep checking the NHRA.com website for an updated entry list to make sure your picks are competing at this event.

As hinted at on both nitromater.com and competitionplus.com, the "Crew Chief Carousel" is spinning again.
Competitionplus.com reports today that John Schaffer, who recently departed John Force Racing will join Bob Tasca Racing as a co-crew chief starting at this weekend's NHRA Virginia Nationals.
In return, Mike Green is headed to JFR, and is expected to tune Top Fuel rookie Austin Prock.

Here's your Tuesday before the event reminder for the 2nd annual Virginia NHRA Nationals at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, VA.
Professional class qualifying starts Friday, May 17.
Current forecast is calling for a high temp of 85F on Friday with partly sunny/mostly cloudy conditions with 10-20% chance of some rain. The Saturday forecast is for a high temp of 87F with sunny/mostly sunny conditions with 10-20% chance of some rain. The Sunday forecast shows a high temp of 78F sunny/mostly sunny conditions and up to 50% chance of some moisture. Cross your fingers.
