Congrats to 'memike' (FABO)and 'Nick2317' (FBBO)! Both of them and 'ocdart' (FABO) and that blind squirrel ended up with 23.0 qualifying bonus points for the betways NHRA Carolina Nationals. 'memike' and 'ocdart' picked the #1 qualifiers in both Top Fuel and Pro Stock, and the #3 qualifier in Funny Car. 'Nick2317' picked the #1 qualifier in Pro Stock and the #2 picks in both Top Fuel and Funny Car. More than one way to get to the top qualifier spot!
'Back in Time' (FABO) and 'cuda20' (FABO) were right behind in the #2 qualifier spot with 22.5 bonus points each.

Congratulations to 'SSG Karg' (FABO) for winning the "Top Picker Eliminator" title for the 2022 betweay NHRA Carolina Nationals with a very nice total of 106.0 points. Both his Funny Car and Pro Stock picks won their class, and his Top Fuel pick lost in the second round of eliminations. He was helped with ET bonus points in Pro Stock and Speed bonus points in both Funny Car and Pro Stock.
'cuda20' (FABO) grabbed the runner-up spot with 145.0 points.

It's still Tuesday here in SoCal, so here's your Tuesday before the event reminder to post your picks for the 2022 NHRA Midwest Nationals, the 19th race of the 2022 season and the 3rd race of the "Countdown".
The first of three Pro qualifying sessions starts Friday, September 30, at 7:00PM EDT (4:00PM PDT).
The only TV qualifying coverage will be on TV (FS1) Sunday, October 2 at 12:30PM EDT (9:30AM PDT).
Final eliminations will be televised Sunday (FS1) immediately following the qualifying coverage at 2:00PM EDT (11:00AM PDT).

The current weather forecast shows sunny and 73F for Friday, sunny and 75F on Saturday, and sunny and 76F on Sunday.

The nhra.com website currently shows the following number of entries:

15 Funny Car
16 Pro Stock

15 Pro Stock Motorcycle

Here's your Tuesday before the event reminder to post your picks for the 2022 Texas NHRA FallNationals, the 20th race of the 2022 season and the 4th race of the "Countdown".
The first of three Pro qualifying sessions starts Friday, October 14, at 3:30PM EDT (12:30PM PDT).
A single two-hour qualifying show will be on TV (FS1) on Sunday at 10:00AM EDT (7:00AM PDT).
Final eliminations will be televised Sunday night (FS1) starting at 10:30PM EDT (7:30PM PDT).

The crew chiefs/tuners are going to have fun because the current weather forecast shows sunny and 89F for Friday, sunny and 91F on Saturday, and then mostly cloudy and 84F on Sunday. Rain is forecast for Monday...let's hope it doesn't arrive early.
