2996 lost on 9/11

September 11 2001 will be forever engraved in my mind. I seen it on the NEWS. Just a horrible day for North America and the world. A few Canadians lost their lives but many many more Americans lives were lost. There were many hero’s to come from the surrounding area to put their lives on the line to help any way they could. I salute and honor all the hero’s of 9 11. Kim

I worked 3 blocks from the towers and watched the whole thing unwind. We ran inside when the towers started to fall. Came out hours later and had to make my way towards the river. Covered our faces with wet towels. Grabbed the first boat out to Long Island. Everyone was united that day, not like today! Scariest day of my life.
