Nice. I have a 93 waiting to be refurbished. I sourced some parts from an 87 but it has been a long wait getting them.
Nice! I have the same wheels on my 95 and 96 but can't get the stock center caps on because of the bearing caps stick out into the hole. What do you have on yours that allows what looks like the stock caps?Just got the Dakota done after 3 months.
Needs some tweaks but passed inspection this morning.
3.9 5 speed with Air.

You could be right. I got them at a local yard, I thought they said 2002, 15X8's.Nice 93 Dakota, looks like it had 98-99 wheels
I only had to smash the caps in some and they clicked right on.Nice! I have the same wheels on my 95 and 96 but can't get the stock center caps on because of the bearing caps stick out into the hole. What do you have on yours that allows what looks like the stock caps?
Looked at that when I put the wheels on my 95 many years ago but they looked like a lot of smashing would be needed. Might look around and see if I can find a couple of ones that are already dented up and see if I can make things fit. Can't use rim weights either and expect them not to hit the upper control arm during hard turns. Even took a grinder to the 96 a little bit....I only had to smash the caps in some and they clicked right on.
Great resto! Like them Dakota's! I've got my 2nd one now I've had for five years, '05 Laramie with AWD great feature. Sad part is body is rusting like nuts and its only got 80k miles. My thoughts are to buy the body parts if I can find them from the south or west and reassemble. Just hate to part with it adding what new trucks cost but hope the new morphed Chrysler Corp may decide to re-intro a new Dakota. Only way I'd maybe - maybe fork over for a new truck. No Fords or Cheve's for me...
Used to see the 17's on CL and FB marketplace pretty often. You might check on the Durango/Dakota site or just try a Google search. A buddy of mine has a couple of sets but being the hoarder that he is, he's not turning loose of them.I have the 97 alloys on my 92-different than the style on the OPs Dak.
I also had to grind the tip of the upper control arm and put a large fender washer on each stud to keep the weights from hitting.
I'd like to find the 17 inchers from a R/T.
Nice job on the Dak!
Well gee thanks for da good news...them bastards...lolNot gonna happen. Stellantis just cancelled new Dakota program. I just bought an '08.
