I have 2 440 irrigation engines. I'd done some research, seems like the industrial engines were premium engines, supposedly with a higher nickel content block. The one I tore apart 440 2 barrel with propane carb. Double roller timing chain, windage tray and an extended flange crank with 8 bolt holes, not tapped, had bolts and nuts behind the crank flange. They have a huge flywheel.
To use one in a car you would have to swap out the crank unless you are using the old cast iron Torqueflight.
Depends if it is a industrial 413 or out of a car. A lot of car engines were repurposed for irrigation engines. Water pump is pretty obvious. Industrial water pump is higher with bigger bearings. Some industrial engines have a sae bellhousing and you can use a allison transmission or a hd truck tranny. They aren't real desirable any more, but would give a older straight truck some pep. Seen them not running for 100-200. Running 500-700 depending on condition. Be a great donor for a old classic truck. Heck of a lot better then a 361 industrial.
