thank you, i'll try promaster on the mini starter. not sure yet on a distributor.I bought one of there mini starters and it didn’t last very long before it burned out. Just off the warranty. After that poor experience I went with a Promaster mini. No such problems. Wouldn’t buy one of their mini starters again - no matter what they say about them....

thanks for info, I bought heads and water pump from them and appear to be good. but will stay away from their dist. and starter. I think i'll get a powermaster starter from what some of the comments have been.DB Electrical has good prices on starters. I have used several from them and never had a problem, knock on wood. As far as the distributor, I would go with a Firecore before one from 440 Source.
