Hey ed, how are those R&M hangers working out for ya?

Guess I'm a little late to the game, but here's mine... using the Accell 9000's, we routed 5&7 around back and used the 45* on 8, though #6 works as well. Maybe a little OCD, but I use like 2 sets of looms so at no point do the wires touch anything.

Thanks for posting, I do appreciate it and I DO like the idea of running #5 & #7 around back of the carb like that. That's damn near ingenious!

You know, I still haven't used the looms yet, been procrastinating on the spark plug wires. I got sidetracked on installing the radio in the dash and all that (still haven't found an antenna that works with my bizarro 1/2" hole in the fender).
Think I'll tackle the plug wires this week, though.
I'm very concerned with fetching MSD's, can't seem to figure out which ones have the terminal ends for a Mopar dizzy cap AND are extra long so I can custom trim them??
Thinking Accel and those lovely ceramic ends might be the better deal.

I just bought a set of cut to length MSD wires so I CAN have as little excess wire as possible also got msd wire seperators

I had been considering the ceramic Accels, but I think I'll go with these as you suggest - in stylish red, of course.

EDIT: Done deal. Got them coming along with a hidden antenna for the newly installed radio.

Come to find out, MSD doesn't make the equivalent for the 440.
In fact, I'm having a hard time finding anything from anyone that's a bigger diameter than 8mm that has either straight boots or multi-angle ones.

That's funny, I have a set of MSD adjustable plug boot, 8.5 on my 440/505, cut to fit .

The key word on those like the Bob before you posted is "universal", Bob....and the ones he cited fit the MSD male post type distributor caps, not the factory female "socket" type cap like I have.
MSD does not make an application-specific 8.5mm set of these wires specifically for the factory style distributors with customizable (read: cut to fit) length wires. I spent time on the phone with Summit to see if they could find anything, but nope.

However, they do make these if I want to roll the dice on a "universal" set having long enough wires in it:

Ed I have to go 'way back' for this, I used original frt side looms on mine with 2" Hookers but this was when you cud buy Packard 440 bulk wire and cut to fit. Bought some kind(?) of plug ends that were reddish at plug end with a black Bakelite short cover to go over the plug wire. They were made with a small screw-in end that bit into the plug wire and the red end swiveled to any configuration you wanted-90,45,straight,etc. Course this was for copper conductor wire. Wish I had a pic of the spark plug end, somebody on here will assuredly remember them. Forgive me this was 40+ ago, but they were awesome.

I remember those screw in jobbers too.
