440

I believe it was, Plymouth were turquoise, dodge was orange, until 69 or 70 Plymouth HP engines were orange with all dodge engines.

All big block 383 and 440 engines were turquoise in 1968. High performance 383 and 440 changed to orange in 1969. Low performance remained turquoise. At least, that is how it is supposed to be. I have learned to never say never when it comes to Mopars. I found a 1969 Coronet 500 convertible in a local junk yard years ago with an orange 383, with HP exhaust manifolds and 4-speed. The orange 383 was supposed to be available only in SuperBee in 1969. It looked like some one had managed to order up an almost 1969 SuperBee convertible.
