Ok, so apparently the transmission mounts are different on an 80s o/d 4 speed and 66-69 bbody 4 speed?
Just took out the o/d that I put in a couple months ago to put a "regular" 4sp in, to find out the mount is 3 inches off from working with the factory crossmember. Never had a problem with the OD fitting, go figure... Geeze.
So any who, what do I have to modify now?? Thanks for any input!

What rear x member are you using? The 65 or later one?

Just a question,, are the length of the tailshafts different ?Most of the 80's O/D's were in A&F body along with D100 light duty trucks. Not sure about B body as 79 was the last year. Just a thought, 3'' too long or short? maybe reverse the cross member? I'm just shooting in the dark making a guess.
