I am trying to get some ideas on what I am going to do for gauges in my 62 Belvedere. The only stock gauge that works is the ammeter.
How about some pic of what you have done and any tips on refurbishing/restoring the original dash panel for looks is needed too.
That giant hole where the speaker went looks like a great place for a custom dash cluster.
What it looks like now.............

Do what I did, I used one of my 64-65 fiberglass dashes and used the 65 Belvedere gauge clusters , a shifter delete plate and a heater delete plate. It looks great in my 62 Plymouth wagon called "THUNDER WAGON'. I am Sled City Fiberglass and I make all the fiberglass that you need. Fenders, hoods, front lower valance, trunk, tailgate, and bumpers.

You probably just need to replace the little Voltage regulator on the back of the cluster. Its has three prongs that plug it in. If the bezel is good you could paint it silver for now, and have it restored later.

Still have a large list of 62 Plymouth parts for sale. I can email you a list of what I have. Want to see more pics of what you do with guages......

I put a '62 dash in my '63 years ago preferring this over the bold ranch gauges. I had the dash rechromed and installed a tach in the spot for the clock. After 15 years the dash is looking skanky peeling and dull so considering rechrome again or other options I've not explored yet. Yeah looking for ideas. I see a lot of neat upgrades but want to stay closer to original look.

Right now I am leaning towards something that would fill the speaker hole. Looks like plenty of room for gas, amp, oil, water and a tach.
The existing dash panel probably my just needs some paint to look better. Maybe the speedo will work.

I did mine like it was originally.
