Can a push button '64 Fury be converted to column shift with a later transmission and driveshaft?

66 column should work. This question was asked here a couple days ago.

tx Mike...not having much luck finding the post.Any idea what forum it was under?

65 was cable shift on the coulmn, so you could go that route if the trans is good. Why do you want a later trans? 64 style can be modified to use later converters.

if i buy this car i'll be removing the slant six and installing a 372 stroker and an already modified 904 with the low 1st and 2nd gear set.
Will the '64 wiring harness for the column fit the '66 column?

65 and 66 TS switches are the same. Can't vouch for the 64.

I had to change the harness plug on my 63 Plymouth to use the 65 column. So if the plug is different just change it.

tx...been looking for a '64 for a long time.
...maybe this is the one.
