I can't find a picture where I can see clearly- what is the correct way the gas pedal is supposed to sit on the bar? Is it supposed to be laying on top of the 'wheel' part that spins or to the left of it and the 'wheel' part on the bar spins acts as a barrier so it doesn't slide off the right?
Just bought a new pedal, my floor could be bent or something wrong- but when I tighten the nuts down on the bolts it naturally lays to the left of the 'wheel' part and rests on the bar.
