67 GTX grille blackout

I need to black out the area around my radiator behind the grille. Couple questions. What black is used. Gloss, semi, flat? and second is the vertical support for the hood latch also painted black? Any photos of the blacked out area would be great. Thanks for the help.

Not glossy
