yep,with my overdrive it is like a 3.15 gear in 4rth.

Oh hell yes, count me in! If there's a chance for us all to meet up and hang out it'd be a good time for sure. I've been trying to twist everyone's arms into meeting at MATS one year but I think it'd be a bit of a long haul for some of the guys haha

Can't wait for the smoke show too! Tire smoke or whiplash, those 4.57's will be fun either way lol

Good to see your progress Charlie.. I put -I think it was- a 2.93,, in one of my old RRs. The big cam I had in it would idle it at 60mph in 4th. I did a rough calculation, tire size, rpm, ect,. It should have gone about 200mph, but that was without figuring in drag. If I had just lived a little closer to Bonneville, always kinda wanted to run something there.... Trivia- A simple way to figure drag is- if it takes 100hp to make a car go 100mph, it will take that same car 400hp to go 200mph. Or in other words as drag/speed doubles, hp has to quadruple.

well i put my used 4.57 gear in & drove my junker down the street ,,very noisy gear,moral of the story is DONT buy a used gear!!! i knew better but i was trying to save money. i was going for more of a race car but now i am changing direction,with the problems MS is causing i wont be able to race this car anyhow, so now going for more street. got a 3.91 gear on the way & with my OD trans 3500rpm will be 102 mph. hiway cruzzin.
