After 30 years of ownership, I finally get to drive my 70 Road Runner for the first time. I must admit it was kinda emotional. This is proof that good things come to those who wait. Still have some minor things to be completed but it’s home now so I need to get busy.

This is what she looked like 30 years ago when I purchased it. It’s the only picture I can find this many years later. To many beers I guess.

Looks great! ……..But, 30 years, what took so long?
Life. 3 daughters in college right behind each other. Building a home that I refused to let anyone help me with. Boy if I could do that one over. Lol. Plus I went through open heart surgery twice 9 years apart. Then I decided it was my turn. So I restored the 68 Road Runner first. That took 5 years before I could start on the 70. If I live long enough I have a 69 Super bee I want to do next.

30 years, not giving up and seeing it through to completion?
Says a lot about you.
Great job man

Yup....life can be a rpita!! I paid off my youngest daughter's college loan last month and that problem is no longer hanging over my head and it would be nice to have some help getting mine together for sure. Just glad I haven't had any major health issues....yet. And your car sure does look nice!
