70 Hemi Superbird Restoration..................errr.....scratch that........

I hear that,it's 3 hours to get to the track leaving at 6am and 4 to 5 hours to get back.I just can't do that in one day anymore.The mind says yes,,,,the body says NO!

Whittled on the intake today and made a prototype fuel rail mount. Looks like it’ll work after a few minor adjustments.

I milled the end china rails out of that intake as I’m planning on adding a 1/4” thick valley tray that will seal with the heads. This will keep hot oil off the bottom of the intake, keep it from sucking it in the ports if an intake gasket fails and will let me route the throttle body wiring underneath the intake.
 
Thanks guys. It’s not worthy of an unveiling at a prestigious show, but it’s still fun. My “unveiling” currently looks to be at Hot Rod Drag week 2020.
Ummm, yes it is!!! Moparnation did a stellar job on his dad's beauty just as you are here. I guarantee this is exactly the kind of build I'd be wanting to see at a big show. Lots of thought and one off custom work which is what I enjoy most in this hobby.
