70 rr with factory installed 69 style voltage regulator

hi, i have a 10/69 rr that came with older style regulator, factory drilled firewall mounting, does not have holes for newer style v r, anyone run into this?

Yup, 70 used the 69 bolt pattern with an adapter bracket..
