'71-'72 Road Runner w/vinyl roof and stripes?

Hi guys, please excuse might may be an obvious newb question.

Does anyone have a pic of a '71-'72 Road Runner with a black vinyl roof and hood/fender stripes? Petty Blue if possible.

Was that combination offered back in the day? I need to decide whether to keep the roof......if I do it'll need to be redone, there's some bubbling under it.

My car has the vinyl roof, strobe stripes. Only ones on the hood was right in the call out with the engine call out. 71 RR, Tor-Red here. My car just got back from paint so only thing on is the vinyl roof right now

71 runners were not available with the hood to fender stripes (71 GTXs were). For 72 you could get the hood to fender "tank tracks" coded V9. Petty blue was not a standard color for 71 either (but was available as paint code TB3 for 72).

I hate when you see a car that looks perfect in a picture and was actually in a large display @ Carlise and then you notice no Black-out behind the grill and the hood safety painted body color!!!:violent1:

This is what I'm starting with, so I've got a way to go. I'm thinking tank track stripes...and l reckon I'll get a new vinyl roof too.

Chrome or body colour mirrors? The one on there at the moment needs to be replaced anyway....
