71 charger 383 signals tail light hazard question

need some help

are all 4 lights supposed to flash when hazard or signals are used?

theres 2 red 1 white on rear each side

the 2 reads should flash for hazard and signal? if they both flash how would brakes work?

i cant brakes to go brighter when hazard or signal is on

the lights work properly when headlights are on and brakes are applied.

Hazzards: all 6 or 8 bulbs should flash: 2 front, 2 on cluster, 4 reds on rear and both fender top if equipped. Brakes are deactivated. This is on this way since 70, when hazzard was moved to the turning switch assembly on stering column. On earliers brakes still worked with hazzards activated.

Turning: just the side you selected: 1 front, 1 cluster, fender top of equipped, and two rear reds of the side. Brakes will work just on the opposite side


The two reds on rear for each side are wired together.

Bulb intensity is the same for brakes than blinkers since is the same filament on bulbs for both functions.

Parking lights are low intensity and difference is noticeable between both. Low intensity is 5 watts, high intensity is 21 watts.
