72 charger 4x10 dash speaker with 2 speakers question

Has anyone upgraded their radio and added a twin speaker set up for stereo?

I do it on all mine. Polk Audio on my 71 and Rockford Fosgate in my 74. Easy upgrade with a modern radio. The adapter plates can be bought from Turn switch for under $15 bucks.
