it is very easy to change. if the engine is out of the car. it can still be done in the car but it will not be easy you have to remove the pan then the rear main cap which means the pump has to go i always pop a new one on if the engine has any real miles on it. if you are lucky you can feed the old one out and feed the new one in i always offset my seals about 3 16ths or so and make sure the lip points inwards. if you have this in your hands it will be self explanatory
