Mopar Joe and I were talking the other night about old Mopars we had. He owns a B5 70 Bee and had a uncle back in the day that owned a 70 Bee. He always wondered what happened to the car. It is a F8 70 Bee with a white C stripe, bench seat, 383/4 speed-3.55 and was in the Lanesborough, Minnesota area last he knew of it back in 85-87. It would be so much fun as a friend to reunite Joe with his old family car. Thanks all for your help. toolmanmike

Love the cool old pics, Mike. I tried to buy one like that several years ago in South Dakota, but I couldn't come to an agreement with the owner.

Joe called a few min. ago and was so excited to meet a previous owner. Not the current owner though. Looking for that guy. Apparently a father/son bought the car and may be the present owner. tmm

Good luck. A guy in my grandmothers neighborhood back East had a similar car. A green 70. He weighed about 400 lbs and always had a smirk on his face. He SMOLDERED them. You could hear him coming. One of my fondest childhood memories.

That car brings back childhood memories for me too, my father had a 70 white R/T jacked in the back with the same wheels, lol... 440-4 car, auto console, scat pack sticker on the 1/4 glass, ram charger hood, and he smoked sets of tires constantly, our street looked like a drag strip, man them were good years...

That green car in the pics has so much soul, how did no one make a movie around the '70 coronet yet? Give it to a rogue cop, a slick back villain, or bad *** out for redemption of his slaughtered family, it would work for all of them...

Possibly in the Afton, Mn. area.

It has probably been stuffed away in someones garage since the 70's. I'll bet someone on here knows of that car. lol

TMM,

I know the post is old, but I just stumbled on it. Any chance this car was purchased from Hillcrest Dodge in Rochester? I have a Super Bee from the dealership and would like to find a trunk sticker from Hillcrest. Are there any pictures of the back of the car?

Thanks.
