I agree with ya, the custom paint shops are crazy expensive especially when you bring in a classic Mopar. I cant pay the money they want so I figured I DIY. Make your own paint booth and spray your own for a fraction of the price. Painting isn't that hard it's the getting it to that point that racks up the bills. I've painted a few cars in my time, mostly race cars but the concept still remains... need good clean , dry air, overspray control and somewhere to paint. Here's some pics of the paint booth I made, it's a modular design that can be taken down and stored or configured to another layout, works bitchen… The panels are 8ft x 8ft, I combined them to make a 24ft x 16ft booth to spray my Charger
